The first app coding contest of HamrahVAS was held in Qazvin province.
Coding contest is in accordance to implement the Resistive Economy policies in the provinces and job creation for the youth and identify top startups of Qazvin province. In the programing event, 14 startup teams had contested and top teams were praised at Investment Conference.
The contest was run by tripartite cooperation among local university, ICT Directorate General of Qazvin Province and HamrahVAS with the aim of forming a hub for the development of value-added services and launch accelerator center in universities nationwide.
In this conference Dr. Moosa Khajooei, CEO and Founder of Hamkaran Rahpooyan Hamta Co. (HamrahVAS), praised Iranian youth and said that we have many young talents in programming field. He added, “Our main goal for Axell contest is creation of context for thinking and more interaction among programmers so that they could make their ideas into action and get support.
The CEO emphasized that, the contest tries to involve more talented young people in mobile value added services (M-VAS). He added, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology especially Dr. Barari, Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology in doing so helped us a lot.
HamrahVAS now is looking young talents in ICT field in 31 provinces of the country. The next phases are Gilan, Kerman, Kurdistan, Khuzestan, South Khorasan, Alborz, Golestan, Isfahan, Hamedan and Zanjan province. On the next run, similar contests for talent identification in M-VAS and APP industry will run soon.
Mr. Rezaie-Nik, Director of Communications and Technology of Qazvin province, also expressed the importance of using IT in various sectors. He added, “Due to the vicinity of Qazvin province to the capital city of Tehran, it has prestigious universities in the field of robotics. The province benefits from good potentials among its youth.”
